The tenth time she is asked to recant, they finally draw blood below her shoulders, the shirt ripped off around the sixth time but the little heated needles kept above her collarbone until now... now when one is driven deep into a breast, leading her to scream, her eyes already nearly dry, tears gone, her body desperate for escape but her mind still clinging to some shred of her honor and her pride. She knows she is going to die. She doesn't intend to die with a lie on her lips. --
